HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

We send our warmest wishes to everyone for a wonderful, safe, happy Thanksgiving! We sure are anxious to get to Blackfoot and see my parents and my sis's family. My mom can hardly stand it, she's so excited to have us home for a couple of days! Yesterday, Monday, I met up with my sis and brought M.J. over with me for a couple of days. He has this whole week off from school and has been bugging for a "sleep over" at Auntie's and Uncle's. So we made it happen. We've baked cookies, ran errands and he is now enjoying one of his favorite new games on the XBox 360. Boys and their toys...no matter if they are young boys, old boys, little boys, big boys....they have to have their games! I never grew up with gaming systems, not even the old Nintendo. So the whole lure of it totally escapes me! I will admit that I love to play Tetris on the 360 when I feel in the mood, which is not often.
Anyway, during this time of year it's ever so foremost in my mind to remember all the blessings Joseph and I share. We hope you all have warm shelter, warm food and lots of love all around you.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY M.J.!!!

Yes...my family has a ton of birthdays between September and January. Without a doubt it causes us to go broke every season! But it's ok. Today is M.J.'s birthday. He turns 7! Holy cow...I can't believe he's 7 already! I still remember seeing him as a newborn baby. He's quite a character. He loves to make up stories and he has a WILD imagination! He's a great little guy! He has the most amazing green eyes with his dark brown hair and of course, the unfairness of it all, his LONG dark eyelashes! Why are they wasted on boys??? My sister said yesterday that M.J. wanted to have his first sleep over with some kids from his first grade class. So tonight there will be four in all who will be camping out in the front room with a movie, pizza and cake and ice cream! Good luck sis...God speed. We love you M.J.! We couldn't imagine our family without you!

HAPPY BIRFDAY JAMIE G.!

Today is the "birfday" of my good friend Jamie Goff. She lives in Utah and works for the law firm where we first met five years ago and has been a super-duper good friend ever since. She even drove up from Utah to be at my wedding! She is a beautiful, sweet, loyal, giving lady who means a whole lot to me. Every day, or nearly every day, of the work week we chit chat via e-mail several times a day and just talk and voice our concerns about husbands, work, and life in general. She is such a great shoulder to cry on and I miss her dearly! We used to have such fun at work together. Jamie...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I miss you and love you, cute lady!
